Potos - Pefkari

Potos situated in the southwest part of Thassos, is an old fishing village and also the port of Theologos which is the oldest and most historic capital of the island.

Travelling from Limenas and Prinos direction to the south, Potos is the last town you will find before the deserted but full of picturesque bays south coast. The good road network offers the traveller an easy access to the south coast and Potos is the ideal starting point for your adventures.
It’s a meeting place for young Greeks and European visitors every year who have made Potos a popular destination.
The town also offers a wonderful long beach where you can enjoy the unique sunsets when the sun slowly hides behind the Holy mountain Athos and into the sea. Potos has developed in tourism and can offer a large variety of services. 

Pefkari is a small tourist village between Limenaria and Potos, with a beautiful beach (you can find watersports). Many hotels, restaurants and cafes are in here in Pefkari,  an the only one camping in South Thassos.
